要件：
･支店設置であるので、日本において資本金を払い込む必要はない
･日本における代表者を選任し、支店登記をしなければならない
･日本における代表者は
外国人でも日本人でもよい
1名でも2名以上でもよい
日本に住所がある者（日本に住所がある外国人又は日本人）が1名以上いなければならない。
設置手続：
日本における代表者を選任し支店所在地を決定したら、本店の存在、日本における代表者その他の法定の事項を記載した文書で、本国の監督官庁又は在日の領事その他の権限のある官憲の認証を受けたものを作成し、支店所在地を管轄する法務局に支店設置登記申請をする。
外国会社は、日本において支店も子会社も設立しないで継続して取引をする場合にも、 「日本における代表者」を選任し、登記しなければならない。日本における代表者につい ては前項を参照。

Nationality: No limitation – foreigner and/or Japanese
Number: One or plural
Japanese resident: At least one of them must be residing in Japan.
Procedures：
As soon as the representative was appointed and the branch address was determined, prepare a document regarding the principal office, the representative in Japan and other statutory matters, which is attested by the competent governmental office in the home country, the consulate in Japan or any other competent officer of the country, and file an application for the branch register to a competent Japanese register office.
A foreign company must appoint its representative(s) in Japan and register thereof when it makes transaction in Japan successively without establishing Japanese branch/a subsidiary.
